Elrow Town UK- Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 2017 & 2018
The Balearic-feel party loved in Ibiza and Cape Town brings its carnival-style fun to London.
Colourful, confetti-drenched party Elrow has already proved a huge hit in Ibiza, Cape Town and Madrid, where revellers loved its carnival atmosphere and top DJs spinning party-focused house and techno. After several hugely successful London shows in 2015 Elrow is back to storm the capital again.
Challenge
Provision of mobile scanners to provide a fluid event check-in solution with the capacity to handle large scale ticket scanning during peak surge times.
Remote gate entry points required check-in scanners to be capable of detecting and validating both day specific and multi-day ticket barcodes from a single scan.
Ability to securely scan primary / secondary ticket seller tickets and Qflow for events barcoded guest list invites.
Mobile scanning devices needed to handle extended gate opening periods.
Up to the minute understanding of on-site attendee statistics broken down by attendee type.
Solution
The hire of Qflow for events laser scanners for the two day duration of the event. This included check-in staff training and direct phone support throughout the run up and gate opening periods of the event. This ensured staff confidence with entry wait times kept to a minimum with any check-in scanning troubleshooting handled swiftly and effectively.
Ticket scanners comfortably scanned tickets throughout the entire gate opening periods on a single charge.
Provision of Qflow for events scanners with 4G capability. These allowed perimeter gate staff to have real time ticket data syncing, alleviated the potential validation of the wrong day or duplicated e-tickets. A dual network (both 3G and WiFi) solution was also supplied to ensure continued reliability even if a primary web connection was lost due to network failure.
Ticket scanners were able to scan all popular barcode types across all ticket seller data.
The Qflow for events check-in app runs via both an iOS and Android app. This allowed management to have real time synced access to live attendee statistics, allowing them to make informed decisions based on real time in-venue figures.
Detailed post event reports allowed management valuable insight into event attendee surge periods and guest attendee statistic by ticket type.
